Horace Butch Derr has studied life and experiential outcomes through direct involvement with people in need for decades. Studied at Elizabethtown College in Pa., Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Butch received his BS from International Bible College in Florida and his MA in Pastoral Counseling from The International Seminary. Certification in Biblical studies from Bethany Theological Seminary and earned his PH.D from Breyer State University. Certified Grief Counselor from the American Academy of Grief Counselors, Fellow status in Thanatology from the Association of Death Educators and Counselors. Butch has a long history with Hospice which began in 1985.
