Struzzi To Take Over For Recently Retired Dana Henry

The new president of the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce will be a familiar face for many in Indiana County.

Chamber officials announced late last night that James Struzzi has been named the new Chamber president.  Struzzi currently serves as the Assistant Press Secretary for the Pittsburgh region with PennDOT Engineering District 11.  He takes over for former Chamber President Dana Henry, who retired at the end of March after serving in that position since 1995.

Struzzi says he is thrilled with the opportunity and is looking forward to being involved in an excited time in the history of Indiana County and the local Chamber.  He has been with PennDOT for 13 years, previously serving as the Community Relations Coordinator for PennDOT District 10, which is based in Indiana.

As the new president, Struzzi says he plans to reach out to Chamber members for feedback and improvement opportunities, create new services, attract new members and further connect the Chamber with Indiana County’s communities.  He’ll also work to further modernize the Chamber’s internet and social media presence.  It was not immediately clear when Struzzi would begin his new duties in Indiana County.
