Police are investigating the deaths of two people this week in Indiana County, although neither death is considered suspicious.  The first was reported on Monday at around 3:20 p.m. when police say 56-year-old James Schellhammer was found dead at his home in Lucernemines.

Police say his death is likely related to heart complications.  The other death was reported on Wednesday between 9 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. at a home along Chambersville Road in Washington Township.

Police say 59-year-old Kathryn Gerber was found dead inside her house by a family member.  The likely cause is a pulmonary embolism.  Both deaths remain under investigation.
