Entrance to Yellow Creek State Park to be improved.

PennDOT has scheduled a public meeting for next Thursday to discuss the improvements planned for the Route 422/Route 259 intersection at the Yellow Creek State Park entrance in Cherryhill Township.

The project, estimated at $1.3 million, will add a left-turn-only lane to the crossroads.  Route 422 from the west narrows to two lanes just before the intersection.  It’s scheduled to get underway in June of next year.

The public is encouraged to come to the open house meeting and view the plans for the project.  You may come at any time between 4 and 6 PM August 8th at the Environmental Education Classroom Building along Route 259 at Yellow Creek State Park.
