IUP grads who came back for Homecoming over the weekend may have had a difficult time recognizing the campus, which has undergone a dramatic facelift in the last decade. More changes are coming, and today the public gets a good look at the future as IUP holds two presentations of its Facilities Master Plan and upcoming phsyical plant projects.
The sessions will be held in two different venues, one from noon to 2 at the HUB Susquehanna Room and the other at 7 PM in Conference Room 10 at the Kovalchick Complex.
IUP President Mike Driscoll says the presentations will give university leaders much-needed public input on the Master Plan. Driscoll and vice president for Administration and Finance Cornelius Wooten will cover a variety of topics, including the phases of the long-range Facilities Master Plan; how the plan complements the community comprehensive planning process; the College of Humanities and Social Sciences building; the Crimson Café and dining hall facilities program; the Fine Arts Courtyard; signage standards for the future; and site logistics for 2013-14 projects.
