Police say all three were under the influence

Three people were injured last night in a crash on Chambersville Road in Rayne Township.  State police say all three were under the influence of alcohol, and none of them were wearing seatbelts.

The accident happened about a half-mile east of Johnson Road at around 7 PM.  25-year-old Curly Riddell of Penn Run was driving too fast for conditions when his pickup left the road and struck a tree.

One of the passengers, 30-year-old Sharon Harasty of Ebensburg, suffered moderate injuries.  Riddell and 24-year-old Matthew Pennington of Strongstown suffered minor injuries.  All three were taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center.
