PennDOT continues to monitor roads that were affected by flooding after Monday’s rain.

Market Street is closed in both directions in Blairsville between the Westmoreland County line and Walnut Street due to flooding of the bridge.  The road will remain closed until the water recedes and the bridge can be inspected.

The Seward Bridge on SR 56 is now open.  It had been closed because of flooding on the approaches, but reopened last night.

Route 954 is now open in Washington Township after having been closed for flooding between Creekside and Chambersville.

Wehrum Road in East Wheatfield and Buffington townships also reopened last night.
