Officials are calling this year's United Way Pancake and Sausage Breakfast a success. The annual event was held at the Indiana Regional Medical Center cafeteria on Tuesday.

The event coincides with Election Day, kicking off in the morning and continuing until 7 p.m. United Way officials say they raised around $6,000 last year.

This year, the total is around $5,000 but donations are still coming in.
