Daughter charged with numerous felony thefts for daylioght burglaries

An Indiana woman has been charged with hindering apprehension and disorderly conduct for allegedly concealing her daughter from police who had come to arrest her.

62-year-old Connie Sue Previte is facing a November 29th hearing before District Judge Guy Haberl for the November 8th incident.  The hindering apprehension charge is a third degree felony.

Sttatet police say they went to Previte’s home on White Farm Road in White Township with a warrant for the arrest of Previte’s daughter, who is one of several people facing numerous felony charges for a series of daylight burglaries in northern portions of Indiana County.  With a strong suspicion that the daughter was hiding inside the home, police asked Previte to meet them there and turn her daughter in, but she repeatedly refused to cooperate and was taken into custody.  Within minutes of her mother being arrested, the daughter, who is unnamed in the report, turned herself in in the company of her father.

Previte is free on recognizance pending her hearing.
