21st annual edition at Blue Spruce Park

One of Indiana County’s best Thanksgiving traditions is the start of the Festival of Lights, and the 21st annual edition of the festival gets underway at Blue Spruce Park tonight.

The theme for this year’s Festival of Lights is “Santa’s Vacation”, and it features more than eighty still and animated light displays around the 12-acre lake, and “The Grinch Game” contest.  Visitors can count the number of times they spot the Grinch cavorting around the displays.  To find out more about the contest, visits with Santa, and the festival gift shop, visit indianacountyparks.org.

The entry fee for the festival is unchanged this year, at $8 per car.  Hours are 5:30 to 10 PM each night, and the festival is open today through Sunday, then November 29th to December 2nd, and every night from December 6th through January 1st, including Christmas Eve and Christmas night.
