Burrell Township gives preliminary approval to budget
No tax increase expected


Burrell Township will go into 2013 without having to raise taxes. 

At their meeting on Wednesday, Burrell Township gave preliminary approval to their budget, and for the next year, There will be no increase in property taxes.  According to township secretary Helen Hill, the borough is holding their own and they haven’t had to increase taxes for several years. 

The budget will come up again for final approval at their meeting on December 19th.
