Norma White, a pioneer in the Indiana County real estate industry, passed away this morning at the age of 82. She founded Norma White Realty in 1985, after working for more than a decade in the industry.
Norma White’s son, Steve, purchased the real estate agency from his mother about 17 years ago. She was also the mother of Indiana County’s State Senator Don White. Today, more than a dozen agents work for Norma White Realty. Wally Putt, who operates Putt Real Estate, said Norma White was a pioneer in the industry.
Norma White’s son Steve says a memorial service will be held for his mother on what would have been her 83rd birthday, on February 16th.
