A Blairsville man will face trial on charges that he sexually assaulted a 6-year-old girl.  26-year-old Jeremy Allgood waived his right to a preliminary hearing yesterday. 

He is facing numerous charges, including corruption of minors, indecent assault and indecent exposure.  Police say he exposed himself and performed a lewd act involving the girl on January 26^th. 

Police say when they arrived at the house in Blairsville, they found Allgood crying in the living room, telling them he didn’t know why he had done it. 

The girl’s mother told police she had seen him leaning over the girl but she wasn’t sure what he was doing.  Allgood remains in the Indiana County Jail after he was unable to post $25,000 bail.
