Governor Tom Corbett announced a $10 million state investment yesterday that will help fund projects at 10 airports across the state. 

Included in the funding is more than $612,000 for the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport.  The funding will be used to construct a Public Safety Building.  Also receiving funding is the John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport in Cambria County.  The airport will receive $250,000 to construct hangers.

The grants are distributed through the Capital Budget and Transportation Assistance Program and funded by state capital bond dollars in the General Fund Budget.
