The White Township Supervisors came together last night for a brief meeting.  The supervisors were visited by a resident who lives near a proposed five-building housing development along Maple Street.

The man was concerned that project would include the use of a street that he maintains and has never been maintained by the township.  Township officials assured him that the plans for the development are only preliminary and both sides agreed to wait to see if the development would impact the roadway.

In other business, the supervisors approved payment to the contractor involved in work at the Mack Park Pool in the amount of more $135,000.  Township Manager Milt Lady says work is progressing at the pool and the contractor expects to finish the renovation project within the next month.

The supervisors also approved a road closure associated with the annual Camp Cadet 5k Event, which is scheduled for June 22nd.
