BUS CRASH KILLS BUS DRIVER, COLLEGE COACH AND HER UNBORN SON

3/17/2013

A bus crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike killed the driver, the head coach of the Seton Hill women’s Lacrosse team and the coach’s unborn son.

Reports say that the coach, Kristina Quigley of Greensburg and her unborn son, along with Anthony Guattea were killed in the crash along the Turnpike near the Carlisle interchange.  State Police say that the bus was taking the women’s lacrosse team to a match against Millersville  and the bus was going East on the turnpike when it veered to the side of the road, hit a guard rail and travelled 75 miles before it hit a tree.

All of the other passengers on the bus were taken to nearby hospitals after the crash.  Some of the passengers suffered serious injuries while others were not injured at all.  Authorities have not provided a breakdown on what injuries were suffered or the road conditions at the time of the crash.
