Taken into custody yesterday at Homer Center High School

State police have charged a young man from Homer City with corruption of minors in a case involving a 14-year-old girl.

18-year-old Brandon Painter was taken into custody yesterday at Homer Center High School, where he is a student, and is facing a single felony count of corruption of minors.  State police still do not provide details, except to say that the incident happened January 10th at a home along Fire Academy Road in Center Township.

Painter was arraigned before District Judge Susanne Steffee in Homer City yesterday afternoon and released on $15,000 unsecured bond.  He has a preliminary hearing scheduled on Monday.
