WHITE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS APPROVE PAYMENT FOR MACK PARK POOL PROJECT

4/11/2013

White township is moving forward with the Mack Park pool bathhouse renovations and applying for state grants.

The fifth payment is due for the bathhouse renovations and Mack Park. This current payment will be for about $120,000.

There is also a grant application in the works for Kennedy King Park. Upgrades to the park would include a pickle ball court, pavilion and a baseball field. The total project would cost $170,000, with half of that coming from the state. The good news is 65 percent of that will go to in-house labor.

Spring cleanup will be May 20-24. This will only include branches and twigs, not yard clippings or leaves.

The township is considering hiring a code enforcement officer. Currently Chris Anderson is pulling double duty in the assistant township manager position.
