The state police have released new details on a bank robbery yesterday in Cherry Tree. The robbery happened at the First Commonwealth Bank branch at around 11:05 a.m.

Police say a man entered the bank and displayed what looked like a small caliber handgun, demanding money.  He got away with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police are looking for a white man, between 5’4 and 5’8, with a slender build.  Police say he was wearing a green camo jacket, gray camo pants, a baseball hat, tennis shoes and his hood pulled over his face.  Anyone with details should call police at 724-357-1960.
