With the recent addition of another school district’s support of a new learning program, all of the Indiana County Schools support a new initiative to help kids learn about science and mathematics.

The Challenger Institute recently announced that the Purchase Line School District has put their support behind the program.  This means each of the Indiana County Schools has put their support behind the initiative.  Members of the Challenger program have gone around to each of the Indiana County Schools asking for one dollar for each student in the district to help with the start-up costs.

The Challenger program will bring facilities to Indiana County to help with Science, Technology, Electronics and Mathematics education programs in each of the schools by utilizing space-related programs and simulated missions to drive home the lessons learned.  The proposed Challenger Center will be located at the Indiana County Technology Center.
