Others were sentenced in Indiana County Court this morning, including:

48-year-old Ricky Grubbs of Creekside, who pleaded no contest last August to statutory sexual assault with an agreement of non-prosecution for charges of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and related offenses involving a 9-year-old girl.  Investigators say that Grubbs showed the girl pornographic materials and had sexual relations with her three times.  He was sentenced to 2-7 years in state prison, and when he gets out, he must register with police as part of the requirements of Meghan’s Law for the next 25 years.

Also sentenced today was 36-year-old Daniel Anthony of Rochester Mills, who pleaded guilty to simple assault charges.  As part of his plea agreement, prosecutors did not pursue charges of corruption of minors, and indecent assault of a person under the age of 16.  Police say the incidents took place last June in a home on Washington Street.  He was sentenced to 2-years probation.
