HOMER CITY BOROUGH POLICE INVESTIGATING VANDALISM AND CAR THEFT

Homer City police are investigating some criminal mischief involving the pavilion and picnic tables at Floodway Park.  Police say sometime between 3 PM on April 8 and 8 AM on April 9, someone took dirt and mud and threw it throughout the pavilion and picnic tables, leaving a mess that police say took Parks and Rec workers hours to clean up.  If you have any information on the incident, you’re asked to contact Homer City Police.

Homer City Police are also investigating a vehicle theft from in front of someone’s home in broad daylight.  Police say someone stole a 2002 Hyundai Elantra from the home of Karen Rager on East Church Street between noon and 5:30 on April 8th.  If you have any information, call police at 724-479-9190.
