Thomas A. Steve, 96 of Indiana, formerly of Clymer, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Scenery Hill Manor.
He was the son of John and Anna (Kliba) Steve, born on June 28, 1916 in Valier, PA.
Mr. Steve was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Clymer. He was a member of the UMWA and the Clymer Slovak Club. Mr. Steve was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Ann (Petras) Steve, two sons, Thomas L of Indiana, PA; Michael and wife Nancy of Greensburg, PA; seven grandchildren, Greg and wife Gina of Upper St. Clair; Doug and wife Julie of Indiana; T. Matthew of Scottsdale, AZ; Kelly Bickel and husband John of Phoenixville; Michele Rosborough and husband Chad of McDonald; Michael and wife Jennifer of Glenshaw; Matthew and wife Amanda of Pittsburgh; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John and five sisters, Pauline Gibarty, Mary Fedor, Anne Hamilton, Helen Stewart and Sue Sabatine; one daughter-in-law, Sara Lou Steve.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Harry J. Bence Funeral Home, Clymer. His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer with Fr. Timothy J. Kruthaupt at celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery.
