Sylvia Lanich Sharon, 86, of Indiana, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
A daughter of the late Marko and Ruby Simpson Lanich, she was born January 12, 1926 in Clune.
Mrs. Sharon graduate from Indiana High School and worked for 42 years as a Supervisor in the Radiology Department at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Indiana. Mrs. Sharon was a loving wife, sister and aunt.
She is survived by a brother, George Lanich; and a sister, Charlotte Midock, both of Indiana; a special niece, Violet Ziegmond and husband Fred, of Ohio; and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael John Sharon in July 2012; two brothers, Samuel and Paul Lanich; five sisters, Kathryn Rostis, Ann Zamberlin, Stassie Glascock, Dorothy Duckett and Mary Lanich.
Friends will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc. in Indiana with Pastor Brian Miller officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
