Mark V. Jevicky, 60, of Clarksburg, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012, at Excela Latrobe.
A son of the late Frank V. and Emma Louise Fairman Jevicky, he was born January 29, 1952 in Indiana.
Mr. Jevicky was a graduate of Indiana Area High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the “Big Indians” football team. Mark was employed as a counselor at the Adelphoi Village in Latrobe. He was also a singer and songwriter, having recorded music in Nashville. Mark enjoyed his music career and entertaining for many years. But foremost, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather; spending the most time with his family was very important to him.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jamie Lynn Scott Jevicky, of Clarksburg; five children; Elijah J. Jevicky and wife Autumn L., of Charlottesville, Va.; Ruby R. Jevicky Proulx and husband Ben, of Swansboro, NC.; Moses M. Jevicky, of Greensburg; Scarlett R. Jevicky Sticca and husband Brian, of Baltimore, MD.; and Evie M. Jevicky, of Clarksburg; three brothers; Ronald L. Jevicky and wife Dianne, of Greenville, NC.; John E. Jevicky, of Cincinnati, OH.; and Timothy F. Jevicky and wife Debra, of Home; five grandchildren; Layne Martin Jevicky, Vienna Jevicky, Samson Proulx, Gideon Proulx and Aybrah Zelenski.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Jevicky, and a brother, Martin A. Jevicky.
Mark will be painfully missed…”This old fool still loves you… I do, I still do!!! You, you are spring to me; you are everything to me…” Always and forever, Jamie.
There will be no visitation. Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
