Theresa I. (Lezark) Kuchta, 89, of Clymer, PA, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012.
A daughter of Andy and Theresa (Szarka) Lezark, she was born April 22, 1923, in Arcadia, Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Kuchta was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Clymer where she participated in the Christian Mothers organization and counted money for 50 years at the church and helped with the funeral luncheons. She had worked as a cashier for the former Sgriccia’s Supermarket in Clymer. Theresa was the last surviving member of her family.
She was a member of the Drum & Bugle Corp of Clymer, the VFW Post 1989 of Indiana, Polka Club of Punxsutawney, Senior Center in Starford, Twolick Valley Social Center in Clymer, Silver Sneaker Fitness Group of the Indiana YMCA.
Surviving are her niece, Betty Joan Parduski and several other nieces and nephews in Hamburg, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andrew W. Kuchta in 1980; and her Lezark siblings: Irene, John, Elizabeth, Barbara, Andrew, and Mary.
Visitation and services are all private. The Harry J. Bence Funeral Home in Clymer is handling arrangements.
