Thelma I. Lawson Bukosky, 84, of Indiana, formerly of Palmertown, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012 at her home.
She was born April 5, 1928, in Smicksburg, to the late D. Jay and S. Marie Ritchie Lawson.
Thelma grew up in the Smicksburg /Dayton area and lived the majority of her life in Palmertown with her beloved late husband, Paul E. Bukosky. Her later years were spent in Indiana. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandma. Thelma enjoyed the time she spent with her husband. Her favorite pastimes included time with family and friends, gardening, yard work, reading, playing cards, long scenic card rides, and taking care of her many pets. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra J. Marshall Wolfe and husband Gary D., of Indiana; two grandchildren: Richard T. Wolfe, of Barr Slope; and Traci L. Wolfe, of Dayton; two great-grandchildren: Cody D. Wolfe, of Indiana; and Trevor J. Wolfe, of Rapid City, S.D.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul E. Bukosky; and a son, Ronald E. Marshall.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., Indiana, with Rev. Thomas C. Spiker officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
