Jeremy Matthew Bracken, 34, of Rayne Township, died Wednesday, February 6th, 2013 at his home following injuries he sustained in a vehicle accident January 28th. The son of William G. and Patricia L. (Fisher) Bracken, he was born in Indiana, November 2nd, 1978.

A 1997 graduate of Marion Center High School, he also graduated with an Associate Degree in Welding and Fabrication from Triangle Tech in DuBois. For the past several years, he’s been a welder for the International Boilermaker’s Union Local 906 in Pittsburgh. He had previously worked as a self-employed welder following his graduation.

Jeremy was a member of the Clymer Moose Lodge 670.  He enjoyed watching NASCAR and following the Pittsburgh Steelers and fishing, however, his greatest joy was being with his twin sons, Dawson and Dakota.  He also enjoyed taking Dawson and Dakota and his nephews Christopher and Conner to amusement parks in the summer.

In addition to his parents, Jeremy is survived by his twin sons, Dawson Edward Bracken and Dakota William Bracken, both of Marion Center. Other survivors include: sister, Julie Ann Peters & her husband, Dr. Christian Peters of Duxbury, MA; Paternal Grandfather, Gerald Bracken of Cherry Tree and nephews, Christopher G. Peters and Conner J. Peters of Duxbury, MA.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jared Michael Bracken; paternal grandmother, Shirley Ann Bracken; maternal grandparents, Robert Kenneth Fisher, Sr. and Dorothea Marie Fisher.  

Friends will be received Friday evening, February8th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and on Saturday from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, of Clymer. His funeral service will be private. Interment will be in the Laurel Swamp Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bracken Family Trust in care of the Indiana First Bank.
