Jack Leonard Mack, 73, of Indiana, passed away Monday, Apr. 1, 2013, at his home.
Born Feb. 22, 1940 in Luciusboro, he was the son of the late Sidney M. and Stella Mae Snyder Mack.
Mr. Mack was a 1958 graduate of Laura Lamar. Jack was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Germany as a military policeman from 1963 to 1965, where he met his wife Ingeborg. He retired from a career of over 30 years as a plumber and pipefitter with Local 354. Jack also worked at Shank’s Plumbing and Heating. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and fishing. Jack was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ingeborg Stahl Mack, of Indiana; three children: Ursula Friedel and husband Cliff, of Ridgeway; Lenny Mack and wife Shanna, of Blairsville; and Steve Mack, of Ridgeway; his sister, Marion DelFrate and husband Dan, of Reno, Nev.; five grandchildren: Stella Mack, Jesse Mack, Alayna Mack, Kira Friedel, Vanessa Friedel; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Rev. Hurbert Redd officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Military rites will be accorded by the Indiana V.F.W. Post #1989.
