James H. Bertuzzi, 91 of Clymer, PA passed away on June 18, 2013 at Sunny Hill Nursing Home, Indiana.

He was the son of Michael and Anna (Augustine) Bertuzzi, born on March 3, 1923 in Clymer, PA.

James retired from SWANK (Clymer Brick Yard) after 40 years of employment.  He was a member of the Clymer American Legion.  James was a full time farmer on the family farm and a avid hunter.  He served in the United States Army as a medic during World War II.  James was a loving father, grandfather and a great-grandfather.

He is survived by five children, Anna Marie Mitchell and husband Dahl of Front Royal, Virginia; Frances McCombs and Husband Richard of Indiana, PA; John Bertuzzi of Clymer, PA; Russell Bertuzzi of Clymer, PA; Jewel Bertuzzi of Northampton, PA;  one sister, Winifred Whittn of St. Petersburg, FL; one brother, George Bertuzzi and wife Joyce of St. Petersburg, VA; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gladys (Vasbinder) Bertuzzi; one son, James Michael Bertuzzi; one brother, Jack Bertuzzi; one grandson, Randy Bowser; one great-grandson, Kayden Bertuzzi.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Rairigh-Bence Funeral Home, Clymer.  His funeral service will follow at 12 noon with the Rev. Robert White, officiating.  Interment will follow in the Manor Cemetery, Cherryhill, Twp., with military rites provided by the Clymer American Legion, Post 222.
