John D. Krugh, Sr., 72, of Indiana, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013, at Beacon Ridge.
A son of the late Lester Leroy and Frances Ethel Lytle Krugh, he was born April 4, 1941, in Van Wert, Ohio.
Mr. Krugh was raised by his grandmother, Dora K. Murphy Lytle. He was of the Baptist faith and was employed by CTI Trucking as a truck driver. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, shooting and most outdoor activities, but his greatest joy was spoiling his grandchildren.
He is survived by five children: Cathy Louise Krugh Henry, of Indiana; John D. Krugh, Jr., of Marion Center; Randy Krugh, of Homer City; Pamela R. Krugh, of Indiana; and Greg W. Krugh and wife Stacey, of Creekside; two brothers: Larry and Jimmy Krugh; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a cousin: Martha Jane Hoffine and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Bill, Gene, Bob, and Jerry Krugh.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon Saturday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., with Pastor Joe Lee officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
