Richard R. “Buzz” Treese, 54, of Indiana, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
A son of the late Harry H. and Clara Belle Coursin Treese, he was born Jan. 14, 1959, in Indiana.
Richard was a graduate of Indiana Area High School. He was a self-employed mason. Buzz was a member of the North American Hunting Club and the NRA. He was also a social member of the VFW and the American Legion. Buzz enjoyed gambling, hunting, fishing, and being around his granddaughter, who was his pride and joy.
He is survived by a son, Richard R. Treese, Jr., and fiancée, Kayla Noon, of Indiana; a brother, Kenneth Treese, of Black Lick; a sister, Donna J. Treese, of Indiana; a granddaughter, Nyelee Treese and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Johnny Treese and Donald Treese.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Pastor John Kean officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
