EVELYN LITTLE, 86

 

Evelyn M. Little, age 86, of Mineral Point, formerly of Nolo, passed away Thursday, June 19, at her home. Friends of Evelyn Little will be received Monday, June 23, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robinson-Lytle Funeral Home in Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in Spruce Grove Cemetery.

Evelyn M. Little, 86, of Mineral Point, formerly of Nolo, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014, at her residence.

 

A daughter of the late Merle and Minnie Moore Dickey, she was born June 6, 1928 in Pine Township, Indiana County.

 

Mrs. Little was a homemaker and had worked in the meat department at the A&P Supermarket. She was a member of the Spruce Grove Wesleyan Methodist Church. Mrs. Little loved her grandchildren. She was a wonderful singer and enjoyed reading her Bible, quilting, knitting afghans, taking nature hikes and working in her flower and vegetable gardens.

 

She is survived by eight children: Timothy W. Little and wife Mary Lynn, of Mineral Point; Sandy Clifford and husband Pat, of Indiana; Thomas D. Little and wife Mary, of Strongstown; Becky Sobieray and fiancé Dan Fleming, of Jacksonville; Steve Little and wife Elaine, of Pine Flats; Blaine Little and wife Tina, of Belsano; Joe Little and wife Ricki, of Belsano; Jeff Little and wife Donna, of Mahaffey; 21 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R. Wayne Little; a son, B. Edward Little; three brothers: William, Henry and Barry Dickey; and three sisters: Mary Haught, Goldie Swentosky and Dorothy Syster.

 

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Joseph Smith officiating. Interment will be in Spruce Grove Cemetery.
