Vivian Irene "Pete" Dunmire, 78, of Indiana, formerly of West Lebanon, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Communities of Indian Haven.

A daughter of the late F. Morgan and Helen Shannon Dunmire, she was born Dec. 30, 1934, in Iselin.

Miss Dunmire was a 1952 graduate of Elders Ridge High School. Vivian was a cashier at Peoples Bank of West Lebanon and attended Graystone Presbyterian Church. "Pete" was a member of the Sweet Adeline’s and the Parkwood Grange and played for many years in the women’s softball league.

She is survived by four siblings: Mary Kerekes, of West Lebanon; Maxine Fisher, of Indiana; James Dunmire and wife Gladys, of Kannapolis, NC; and Kathy Fails and husband Barry, of Black Lick; a brother-in-law, Robert Coulter, of West Lebanon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Jean Duncan and Betty Coulter.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc., Indiana, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Dr. Horace Derr officiating. Interment will be in West Lebanon Cemetery.
