7-and-10 USC fired basketball coach Kevin O’Neill yesterday and immediately Pitt coach Jamie Dixon’s name came up in media reports as a possible replacement. Dixon said in 14 years at Pitt, he hasn’t commented about coaching rumors and he won’t start now.
