PENS WIN OVER BRUINS

4/21/2013

The Penguins and Bruins were involved in a very physical battle, but the Pens came out on top 3-2 to secure first place in the Eastern Conference, and home ice advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Pens were trailing 1-0 to the Bruins in the second period when Jussi Jokinen tied it at the 5:10 mark of the second period.  In the 3rd, The Pens took the lead as Jarome Iginla and Kris Letang had power play goals within 4 minutes of each other.  Tomas Vokun made 38 saves on the day.

The Pens are back in action Monday Night in Ottawa, and you can hear the game on U-92.5 FM starting at 6:30 with the pre-game show.
