INDIANA FALLS IN PIHL HOCKEY PLAYOFFS
6-4 loss to Hempfield

In high school hockey,Indianafell to Hempfield, 6-4 last night at the S&T Bank Arena in second round action in the PIHL Open Division playoffs. 

 

Hempfield led 2-0 after one period, but Indianatied it on goals by Luke Lewandowski and Dominick Glavach.  But the Spartans scored twice more in the second and led 4-2 heading into the third.  Glavach and Camden Lydick scored in the third period to tie it again, but Hempfield’s Avery Lavella, who had already scored one goal, scored two more within 36 seconds of each other in the 16th minute of the third, and the Spartans held on for the win.

 

Indiana’s Lydick had a goal and three assists on the night. Indiana led in shots-on-goal, 42-37.
