The Penguins are in Brooklyn to battle the Islanders tonight in the second game of a home and home series.

The Pens had their four-game winning streak stopped Tuesday night by the Isles, 6-3. Pregame is at 6 p.m. tonight on U92.5 and U92RADIO.COM.

BIGGEST CHALLENGE FACING VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANIES

The spring has been a difficult one for first responders, with fatal accidents, wildfires, and the storms and resultant power outages. What are the biggest challenges facing volunteer fire companies?

Personnel.  The average age of a Pennsylvania firefighter is 48.  
Equipment.  New fire trucks start at $500,000 and can top $1 million.
Mandates.  Their training requirements are too difficult.
Danger!  A first responder is always in jeopardy.
