Speaking of graduation, the latest class of graduates from the State Police Academy includes two Indiana County natives.
The State Police announced in a news release that 104 cadets of the State Police Academy in Hershey graduated and were assigned to troops across the state. Among those graduating was Robert V. Martin III and Ian T. Ward. Martin has been assigned to the Troop A Greensburg barracks and Ward was assigned to Troop E in Erie.
This class represents the 157th graduating cadet class. They completed 28 weeks of classroom and physical training. Ceremonies were held at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Hershey.
