Former Indiana County Coroner Tom Streams, who was one of the founders of Citizens Ambulance Service in 1965, has passed away at the age of 74. The announcement was made on Facebook by his wife, Candace, who wrote that he had suffered a fatal heart attack.
Tom Streams served 32 years as county coroner and also contributed his time and expertise to many other organizations, and was recognized industry-wide for his pioneering efforts in emergency medical services.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Rairigh Bence Funeral Home in Indiana.
