FORMER HIGH SCHOOL STANDOUTS IMPACT SHIPPENSBURG-SETON HILL GAME

In PSAC basketball Sunday when Shippensburg defeated Seton Hill, 73-57, two former area stars made their contributions.

Indiana High grad Carlos Carter had 11 points for Shippensburg before leaving with an ankle injury, while former Ligonier Valley standout Marek Paola tallied 12 points and five rebounds for Seton Hill.

Separate Championships?

A bill permitting, but not requiring, the PIAA to hold separate sports championships for public and private school has been introduced in the state legislature.  Do you support it?

YES!  The current system gives an unfair advantage to the private schools.
NO!  Leave it as it is now and always has been.
ALMOST! It should require separate championships, not make it an option.
