BURRELL TOWNSHIP
State police are investigating a burglary at a Burrell Township home, in which thieves got away with thousands of dollars worth of tools.
The break-in was discovered on April 18th at the home of a 40-year-old man who lives along Pine Street in Black Lick. Someone forced their way into the man-door at the garage and into the basement door at the house. Among the items stolen were a Snap-On Tools Solus scanner diagnostic tool valued at $4,500; an OBD Tech 2 scan tool for GM vehicles, valued at $3,200; a drill press valued at $400; a MIG welder; various Milwaukee-brand tools; and an Autel scope.
GREEN TOWNSHIP
Police have not named a suspect they say brandished a handgun and made threatening comments to a 49-year-old Commodore man last Saturday morning along Cookport Road in Green Township.
The suspect is a 35-year-old Commodore man who drove past the victim as he made his threats.
ARMSTRONG TOWNSHIP
An 84-year-old Shelocta man reported to state police that someone stole a package of fifty disposable face masks that had been delivered by the U.S. Postal Service to his home along Parkwood Road in Armstrong Township.
The victim returned home shortly after 9 AM on April 23rd and discovered the package had been stolen. The masks are valued at about $58.
