Regina “Jean” Riva Dishong, 82, of Commodore, PA, died on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at home.
The daughter of Ralph and Sophia (Stefula) Riva, she was born on December 31, 1937 in Spangler, PA.
Surviving are her four children: Tom Dishong and wife Debbie; Deb Bash and husband Jeff; Terry Dishong and wife Luann; Carol “Corky” Dishong and fianc Don McAfoos; her nine grandchildren and her 14 great-grandchildren: Toby Dishong, wife Victoria and children Zarius and Uzziah; Tanner Dishong; Courtney Clawson, husband Ken and child Landon; Jeremy Bash, wife Holly and children Alleck, Zach, Alaina; Kristie Lenz, husband Doug and children Kinley and Zaylin; Mandy Kephart, husband Roger and children Levi and Peyton; Ashley Lindahl husband, Kyle and children: Ariana and Kamden; Kayla Hellms and child Jaiden and Kalsy Hellms and child Blayk; her sister: Teresa Semelsberger and husband Bob; her brothers: Ralph Riva and wife Shirley, and Richard Riva and wife Shirley and many nieces and nephews.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman in July 2004; her infant twin sisters; her infant brother; her brothers: Robert, John, Michael and Ronald; and her infant great grandson: Logan Clawson.
Friends will be received from 2-4:00 p.m. and 7-9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the Lighthouse Morning Star Ministries Church located at 4886 Rte 240 Hwy, Cherry Tree, PA 15724, where an 11:00 a.m. funeral service will be held at the church on Friday, June 12, 2020 with Pastor Ken Brown officiating. Interment at Montgomery Cemetery, Grant Twp., Indiana Co., PA.
