The Coronavirus crisis has claimed another festival in our area as organizers have cancelled the annual Hoodlebug Festival in Homer City.
Hoodlebug Festival Chairwoman Penny Perman said that the decision to cancel the festival did not come lightly and required several discussions on the situation of the world right now concerning Covid-19. Perman said that one of the big issues that lead to the cancellation of the festival was Governor Tom Wolf’s rule that in the green phase, gatherings of 250 or more people are not allowed.
She asks that people join together to thank the volunteers that work on festivals like the Hoodlebug, and they are already looking at planning for the 2021 edition of the festival.
