State police in Indiana also report three additional crimes relating to theft, attempting to flee state troopers and simple assault.
Reports say that around 3:45 a.m. Saturday morning, state troopers attempted to stop 27-year-old Steven Wray of Clymer near Airport Road along Route 286 Highway East in Cherryhill Township for multiple traffic violations. During this, Wray began fleeing troopers, reaching speeds up to 105 miles per hour.
An arrest warrant for Wray was obtained through Indiana County District court, and he was arrested in his home after troopers found him hiding under a mattress.

State Police also report an incident of theft near Blaire Road in Burrell Township that occurred between August 19th and August 25th that saw $190 stolen in unemployment funds.
Reports say that a Blairsville woman’s father gave her social security number to a relative so they could her identity and claim benefits from the unemployment website, and the money collected was split between the relative, her boyfriend and the woman’s father.

Lastly, State Police arrested three people following reports of simple assault in Montgomery Township on August 8th.
Around 10:10 p.m., troopers responded to a disturbance along Cherry Tree Road, where two 18-year-old males from Cherry Tree and one 19-year-old male from Commodore were arrested and charged with harassment, disorderly conduct and simple assault.
