On Monday night, the Marion Center School Board approved continuing with the educational model that has been in use since the start of the school year.
That model has half of the student body attending every other day. Superintendent Clint Weimer said that he felt it was part of the reason why Coronavirus-related numbers in the district have been low.
Weimer said the goal is still to get students back to face to face instruction five days a week as soon as possible.
In other business, the board approved a $2,500 donation to the Marion Center Park Association, and the board accepted, with regret, the resignations of custodian Keytek Braughler, music teacher Matthew Johnson and math coach Lacie Cook.
