Two vehicle crashes reported yesterday in Indiana County were blamed on icy road conditions.
The first incident was a two-vehicle crash on Route 403 on Tuesday. Indiana County 911 reported the crash at 9:06 last night, and Armagh Fire Department was dispatched to the scene. Fire officials say that the road was covered in ice and that caused one of the vehicles slid across the road and into the other vehicle. Both vehicles were demolished, and no injuries were reported.
About an hour later, Blairsville and Black Lick fire fighters were called out to provide traffic control on Route 22. Blairsville fire officials say that one vehicle slid on some ice on County Line Bridge and went into the median. No injuries were reported in that crash.
