With Christmas coming this week, Indiana County’s school districts are preparing for their holiday breaks.
The Purchase Line School District has published a schedule for this week, with an advisory that it intends to follow the same path when it reopens after the holidays on January 4th. The schedule calls for three days of in-school instruction for students in Pre-K through grade 7, and for grade 12. Students in grades 8 through 11 will have one or two days in school under the hybrid A/B plan, following each student’s assigned days. All special needs students from kindergarten through 12th grade will continue with three days in school.
The school district will correspond with all parents and students on or around December 31st, confirming the plan.
None of the other Indiana County-based districts have published any updated information.
