The Penns Manor School District has reported a new student case of Covid-19.
In an announcement posted to its Web site, the Penns Manor School District reported it was notified by both a parent and by the PA Department of Health that a high school student had tested positive for Covid-19. That student has not been in school since February 12th. The district is working with the Department of Health to identify and communicate with others in the school community who were in contact with the student.
Earlier this week, the Indiana Area School District also reported two cases of Covid-19 at the Senior High School. On Tuesday, the district said one of the two students had not been in school since February 11th, so that case will not count towards the building’s rolling 14-day count. The other case will count as the student was in school on February 15th, one day before the announcement was released. Only one active case has been reported in the district.
As of this morning, only one case of Covid-19 has been reported on the rolling 14-day count at the Blairsville-Saltsburg School District, as one case was reported in an employee at the Saltsburg Elementary School.
No Covid-19 cases have been reported at the Homer-Center, United, Marion Center or the Purchase Line School Districts.
