An online fundraiser has been set up for the employees of a restaurant that is closed due to a fire that happened Sunday night.
Spaghetti Benders Restaurant in Indiana Borough and some adjacent apartments were damaged in the fire around 9:30 PM. The cause of the fire is still not known, but there was a lot of damage from the fire. Three people had to be rescued along with a few pets, but there were no injuries reported.
As Spaghetti Benders now enters clean-up mode, the restaurant must remain closed for at least three weeks. The apartment tenants who were displaced are being set up in hotel rooms by the owners, but some are worried for not just the tenants, but the employees of Spaghetti Benders who are temporarily out of work.
To that end a GoFundMe page has been set up to help the employees and tenants affected by the fire. So far, $1,070 has been raised towards the goal of $15,000. You can make a donation to the fundraiser by going to the GoFundMe page for the fundraiser.
